Séquito for Twitter Released

May 20, 2010

It’s been a busy few weeks as you can tell by my prolonged silence, but one of the projects that was cooking is ready to serve. Séquito is a Twitter application that lets you make a backup of the tweeps you follow, then you can easily unfollow them through the application an it keeps track of that too so you can always re-follow them later.

There was a lot of learning involved while building it so expect to see tutorial articles in the near future dealing with OAuth, Twitter API, reverse proxying, caching and more.

It’s a simple concept, but I haven’t seen it done before so I took on it with my buddy Danny and we built it in between doing actual work. Give it a try, let us know what you think and help spread the word too!

Want to know more? It couldn’t be any other way, follow Séquito (@sequitoapp) on Twitter.
